Emory Study Links Exercise, Sexual Function
Emory researchers have conducted the first study revealing that exercise can reduce the chance of erectile dysfunction and may enhance sexual function in men between the ages of 18 and 40. The results of the study showed that men who engaged in physical activity on a frequent basis did not experience erectile dysfunction at all, while men who did not exercise showed higher rates of dysfunction. The survey studied the participants based on the amount of energy they expended a week through physical activity, according to Wayland Hsiao, assistant professor of urology at the Emory School of Medicine, who co-authored the study with Chad Ritenour, director of Emory’s Men’s Health Center Continue reading
